Dear family and friends,
This was a really good week. I'm not sure what changed but I took a lot of pictures from what we were doing this week. We did a lot this week. We went on exchanges with some elders. I got on a bike for the day and tracked the riding of the day on my watch and it ended up being about 16 miles in total. I went with an Elder named Elder Cabrera. He's a pretty funny guy from Idaho. We had some good success in our contacts that day and met some really cool people. We shared two copies of The Boom of Mormon with people we met that day and they were both super awesome contacts. We also issued a zone wide challenge to see who could send in their best planking picture. There were some funny responses. It was a cool day. It is his first transfer in the mission so I wanted to be his first exchange. The new missionaries always have a certain light in them and fire to do the work.
Then we also had the opportunity to attend the temple with Tommyee for the first time. She was so excited for that day and loved being able to finally go inside. She was able to be baptized for her mom and some of her other relatives. It was awesome to be able to participate in those ordinances with her! Really a great day.
It was a good week overall. Nothing too crazy went on, fairly normal contacts. I'm enjoying the work and look forward to seeing what these next three weeks bring.
