This was a really good week, probably one of the best weeks of my mission up to this point. We had a member of the presidency of the Seventy come and visit the mission named Elder Pieper. We had many enlightening meeting with him throughout the week about simple eternal principles that we can apply in out lives as missionaries and also disciples of Jesus Christ. We also saw many miracles and if all goes as planned our friend Sanahin will be getting baptized tomorrow!
This past week I had mentioned that we received a call from a lady named Eliza that has a desire to be baptized. We were able to meet with her this past Tuesday and get to know her a little better, she is really awesome. She doesn't know too much about God but is very eager to learn more about Him and His goodness. She actually came to church yesterday she was about 15 minutes early and she really enjoyed it!
Another cool experience we had this week was last week we reached out to someone who has previously been taught here but there wasn't much information about him. He had met with the missionaries once but due to being busy with school he didn't have enough time to continue at that time. He met us at the institute on Wednesday and we had an awesome first contact with him. He really opened up about how God has played a role in his life and how he really wants to come closer to God and learn more about the plan he has for him. A member actually happened to come to the institute building and kind of invited himself into the lesson but shared a simple but great testimony and I know it was exactly what Adam needed to hear. At the end of the lesson we read some verses from Alma chapter 7 about the atonement and asked him what stood out to him and what he felt God was inviting him to do in these verses. He told us that the part about Baptism and becoming new is what he felt God was inviting him to do so we will continue to work with him!
Like I said our friend Sanahin is planning on getting baptized tomorrow but her mom is really against her getting baptized so please pray for her and her mom's heart to be soften.
There were so many great things that happened this past week but those are some of the high lights.
We also set up a basketball game between north zone and west zone today at the mission office and we took it to them, let me tell ya. It was a really great time!
