The transfer comes to a quick end. This past week really flew by so quickly and its crazy to think that another transfer has come and gone. It is the last transfer of all of the english missionaries that I came in with to the mission so I'm losing a lot of my great mission friends. 22 leave this transfer and were getting 19 new missionaries coming to the mission today so lots of changed on their way! Elder waltman is finishing his mission so I'll be getting a new companion named Elder Gergenti and I've heard that he is a good missionary so I look forward to serving with him. Elder riches will also be going home and actually is staying the night at our apartment so it will be good to have a nice little send off with him. Lots of changes are on their way.
This week was pretty eventful, I did an exchange with Elder Morgan and elder Nunnelly which went well and was good to be able to go around such young missionaries, they are always a good time to be around. They just have such a great desire and willingness to give all to their missions that I respect fully they're just trying to find what direction they need to direct their energy. We had a lot of good lessons and contacts during the exchange and a member from another ward who owned the complex we had a lesson at took us out to eat which was pretty awesome. We had an awesome lesson with this man that has been separated from his family since the start of the pandemic and doesn't know when he will see them next and told us how he has turned to alcohol to numb the pain but recently has been turning to God. He was such a humble and loving man. He has such a great desire to change despite how hard it is and has the faith that God can help him.
