Another fast week here in Tucson, it's crazy to think that another week has come and gone and that it is already the last week of the transfer. This week was amazing, we had many wonderful lessons and were able to meet many amazing, and interesting people here in west Tucson! We had so many interesting experiences with the people that live here this week, there are so many diverse types of people in Tucson. This week I was also able to participate the baptism of the little girl that I interviewed last week. Her grandfather ended up not being able to baptise her and she asked if I could do it. She is such a pure, beautiful little girl and it was such an awesome experience to be able to participate in her baptism. It will always leave a huge impression on me the smile that she wore that whole day. She looked like she was truly happy and that nothing could have wiped the smile off her face that day. The spirit that I felt that day and the focus the Lord puts on baptism lead me to focus my study and fast the next day on being able to understand baptism better and why it is so important to the doctrine of Christ. I love fast sunday and being able to focus my fast on a specific topic and be able to receive enhanced guidance from the Lord on any given topic. I truly felt of his guidence as I studied about Baptism and as I learned more of his doctrine. I know that through faith in Jesus Christ, repentace and baptism we can be forgiven for our sins. I think we often forget the true weight and significance of this gift that we've received from the Lord to have a remission of our sins! Christ's atonement can only help us as far as we will allow it to, trust in him and allow him to make you clean!
