Pues, Mis amigos estan en casa??

Hello everyone, we had another good week out here in Wilcox and being honest the quarentine really hasn't been that bad. Elder hair and I have found good ways to use our time and the days honestly feel like they're flying by and that we don't have enough time. We have been doing a good amount a service, playing basketball, reading the scriptures, listening to conference talks and just talking to one another. It's been an enjoyable couple weeks and i don't think we could've chosen a better area to be other than Wilcox during all of this. the members keep us up to date with all the food we could possibly need and then some, today at the store we only bought milk and water because that's all we needed. We have been eatting well and continuing with our goal to read the book of mormon in spanish by Conference and have made some good ground since last week, i made it to the book of heleman yesterday and i am learning so much reading the book of mormon in this mann...

WELP

WElp it's been a pretty crazy week out here in the mission field. Monday I got called and my mission President said I'd be going home which was pretty sad but after talking with the mission department, my parents and doctors I get to stay out here so that's pretty lucky! We have been updated slowly but surely on the announcements from the Church and Nation on the steps being taken to prevent and stop this virus and it's pretty crazy all that's going on. This week and transfer combined we will loose 50 missionaries. Many have already left with their parents picking them up and many are being called home a couple transfers early and it sounds like we may get a large influx of new missionaries from all over the world so that will be interesting but the Lord has been preparing us for this and that is where my confidence lies is in my Lord my God. In this whole week, through all that has taken place he has spoken a constant peace to my heart and soul with the utmost conf...

COURAGE

Well it was a very interesting week this week here in Wilcox with a lot of different annoncements about the virus and different cancelations for the church and also the country and all that but we don't really know what's going on so we just keep going and doing missionary work and trying our best to limit direct contact with people especially the elderly and there is a lot of Elderly people who live here in Wilcox. We had a pretty successful week despite all that has been going on. We have been pretty busy so that's been good to try and keep our minds off all that's going on and Elder Hair is pretty funny so we've been having a good past week and I'm excited for the coming weeks and what the Lord has specifically for us! We had an opportuntity to do exchanges with the zone leaders this last week and I went with Elder Wright who was in Nogales with me my first 3 transfers and now he's my zone leader so we had a lot of fun and found some awesome really h...

WILCOX

Well They finally got Elder Holman out of Nogales after 7 1/2 months. I was really hoping president would call and change his mind but they made me leave sadly. It was good to say goodbye to everyone and will be awesome to visit again one day Nogales Arizona is a beautiful place with some awesome people. I'm here in Wilcox, Arizona and it's been a big change. Not many people only around 3,000 but it's a great place. The members are so involved and love missioanry work so that's been really awesome. The leadership just knows the importance of this work and the rest of the wards and branches follow after. I'm so excited to work here in Wilcox because I've already seen in a week that the Lord has been preparing people to recieve this message for along time. The lord blesses his servants and works along side them. In Jacob 5 it talks of how labourers worked in the vineyard but in the following verse it talks about how the Lord of the vineyard worked along side them....

Me voy

I'm out of Nogales, it was a good run but they're sending me north. It was a interesting week with everything that took place. We had exchanges and I went with Elder Neff and it was a good time we had a lot of good lessons and learned alot from one another. I had surgery on both my big toes to cut down the part that was ingrown and that was pretty interesting to see. Went up to tucson later that day and Elder Midyette graduated from his training and we got to see a few Elders out there so that was pretty fun! Lots of good lessons and goodbyes with those that were teaching here in Nogales. We got transfer calls and I'm going to Wilcox which is a really small town north of Tucson with Elder Midyettes MTC companion named Elder Hair. I'm really excited to be able to work with him and help the people of Wilcox I've heard really good things about him. Said a lot of my goodbyes and took some pictures. We dont have enough wifi so I wont be able to attach any of them this we...
