Exchanges

This week was really good and super busy. We started off by doing an exchange in the English elders area which went super well! I worked with elder stowell and elder Larson, they're both super great missionaries and I was able to learn a ton from them and their example of being Christ like missionaries! This week we also did a blitz in the English sisters area and I worked with elder padilla during that and we met SO MANY amazing, prepared people. One of the ladies has been praying to be able to know God better and happily accepted a copy of the Book of mormon and promised to read 3 Nephi 11 about where Christ visited the Americas! We also knocked on this ladies door and she has a seizure when she answered the door so we were able to help her get the help she needed and when we were leaving she was leaving in an ambulance so keep her in your prayers! Such an amazing week and one of our friends carmelo is praying about a day to be baptized in the coming month so pray for him also!...

"Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil"

Another week here in West Tucson. This weeks marks my two months of being back here in the Arizona Tucson mission and I could not imagine myself being anywhere else in the World. These past two months have been so rewarding and have pushed me to finding pure and precious truths about the gospel, we've had the blessing of starting to teach many wonderful people here and seeing their progress in the gospel. I have been blessed to see the spirit impress upon them the truth of the messages that we share and allowing us to share in the spirit of light and truth. As with a refiners fire the only way we can be made stronger in this life is through heat and pressure. Using this example, being a missonary again is in no way something easy. Times are different and missionaries are not exempt of the stresses and problems of the world we are living in. It has been amazing to see how much the world has endored in this past year and how many people have been able to recognize blessings despite...

"truly this is a greif, and I must bear it"

This week has been super good, we're starting off the new trasnfer right and the Lord is really blessing us with a lot of miracles. Elder Medina and I are staying this transfer and we got a new companion from draper named elder jones. He's a good missioanry and is very eager to work and to learn spanish before he heads out to Argentina! This week we saw lots of miracles in our area. We started teaching two new families and it's been awesome. I have not taught many full families as a missionary so it is a little bit of a change in teaching style but it's been such a blessing to see these families and their desires to come to Christ. This year has not been easy for anyone but it's amazing to see how much people can endure when they have the hope that God and Christ bring into their lives. This week in my study I was reading about Jeremiah and him describe his mission to the people of Israel, He talks a lot about how they do not want to receive his message or the hel...

New Transfers

Well the first transfer has come and gone quickly despite it being a 7 week transfer. Elder Medina and I will be staying here in West Tucson serving in the El Rio ward! I'm beyond excited to be able to continue to work with Elder Medina and continue to practice mu Spanish with him, we're both eager to see how this transfer will go and see how the people here will progress and come unto Christ. It has been an interesting week and has gone by extremely quickly as most weeks do. We had a working zone conference which was the first time I had the opportunity to experience one and it was very different but I learned a lot. It is basically a normal zone conference split up over a few days and we do an exchange in there. I went on my first exchange into a full English area. It was an interesting experience to say the least and my testimony grew so much of the Lord calling us where we need to be, I love being a Spanish missionary.  This week we had an interesting experi...
