Elder Mason Holman

Today is my two months, not a huge achievement but still something cool! The work is going great down here in nogales. The lord constantly listens to our prayers. In my last two weeks here we've basically been starting up and area which is hard because you don't have many people to teach and it's a lot of finding which is hard. But this IS the lords work and he is doing his part that we, through his strength can do ours. This week alone we found 11 new, interested people and got two more referrals today about two prepared families! The work is blowing up on us and we need to catch up with the Lord at this point not, but I can testify that this is his work.  We had many great lessons this week and you can see the power and interest people have in knowing about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth! We had a lesson with the Bernal family this week (the kid who sold drugs in front of us) and they had a friend over name...

Another week in the books down here and Nogales and things are going great down here. Were working hard and looking for interested people and find some everyday, the lords hand is in this work! This week we had a lot of service and I was able to use a weed whacker twice which was fun to do again I missed it, the grass gets super tall because it's the rainy season so lots of weed whacking! It rained one night this week and when we got back to our house there was a huge frog right at our door which was kinds scary because all i could see was it move and bug eyes, I thought it was a rat. Lots of goofy animals down here we saw two road runners this week. But there's tons of flies here its crazy and they're everywhere we went to the landfill to dump some grass for a lady in the ward and there was so many flies it was crazy haha. Hola amigos. Yo soy aquí en el campo misional. Been a crazy week ahha. Got to leave the MTC and say goodbye to everyone kinda sad but good were all going to different places to do this great work and it is great. I got to go from the MTC all the way to Tucson with Elder Riches and the bus ride really didn't feel too long! But we got there and drove to the mormon battalion thing that is in down town tucson. That night we were able to have some time to go to the temple and just walk around the grounds and kinda just ponder and pray and I had a really cool experience there. I just said a prayer that i wanted to know where I was going tomorrow and that it was a place that I would do well in and right after praying I had the strongest feeling that i was going to Nogales!
